Most women dream of the day that they are proposed to; the romance, the love, how special they will feel, and we love to be involved in these beautiful moments. We help couples from around the world to have the perfect engagement, and we were so excited to play a part in the dreamy engagement of Eric and Shannon, an American couple who got engaged on the Shangri-La Hotel’s room terrace.
The location itself is breathtaking. Paris, of course, is the most romantic city in the world, and nothing can be more romantic than a rooftop terrace filled with roses and candles, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Smiling photos of the couple’s loved ones as well as a gorgeous cake, adorned tables to either side of the terrace, setting the scene for a perfect engagement. The rooftop terrace allows you to have a more private, intimate proposal without sacrificing the view of Paris’ most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower.
Eric and Shannon arrived at the hotel in style, appearing in a classy black Maybach. The couple were then brought up to the terrace, where Eric dropped down to one knee and told his future bride all the reasons that he loved her, and how he wanted to be with her forever. Then, he asked those special four words, “Will you marry me?”. Of course, Shannon said yes!
The couple celebrated into the evening with champagne, and they watched as it became dark and the Eiffel Tower was illuminated, creating an even more spectacular atmosphere. Lit candles surrounded the couple creating a romantic, warm feeling that was perfect to celebrate their new engagement in.
The whole event was captured by a photographer and a videographer, meaning it will be immortalised forever and the couple and their friends and family can watch and enjoy that special day for many more years.

High above the city of love, with panoramic views overlooking the Paris skyline and the Eiffel Tower, there is nowhere better suited for you to pop the question.
