One of the advantages of proposing in a public place is that you can surprise your partner with a simple stroll along the banks of the Seine. Then, around a bend in the river, take him or her to where everything has been prepared: a romantic setting, flowers, champagne… and the famous kneeling down.
What you need to know before choosing a public venue
Obviously, as this is a tourist venue, you won’t be alone on the bridge. There will probably be other visitors or photographers, likely to appear in your photos. This spot is also very popular with couples from all over the world. So you may not be the only one to have had this great idea, which can detract from the intimacy of the moment.

As the docks are long, it can be difficult to find the exact location, despite our indications. What’s more, accesses may be closed without notice, forcing us to postpone or reschedule your request.
